We went out on a double date last night and ate at City Tavern. Oh mamma! It was so tasty. We had beef carpaccio and baked brie (RACHEL!!!) for appetizers and I had a pot pie with shrimp and scallops in it. It was really good, but my friend ordered the tuna and THAT was amazing. I'll definitely go back there again.
Then we went to a place called JP Wine Bar. I want to go to this place once a week! They serve wine flights, cheese flights, amazing cocktails and great desserts and coffee. They also have regular food too, but we didn't order any of that. I saw some plates coming out though and the food looked really good. It was packed! It's been a while since I've been to a bar though and it was a little meat-market-ish, so I felt a little out of my element. Until my creme brulee came and then I didn't really notice my surroundings so much!
If you can, I highly recommend getting to these places. YUM!

Mmmmm....baked brie......yummy.... I love carpaccio too. I ate at JP's a long time ago when I was being recruited by accounting firms. I don't remember what I had but I remember it was good and that they had a HUGE wine list.
