right now it's dark, but things are covered in white again. Oh, how much I need to go to Hawaii.
I am listening to:
the washing machine rinsing out our new cloth diapers! We did it! We made the switch! So far so good, but there's a definite learning curve. What's life without a few curves, right?
I am wearing:
sweats, and 3 shirts, socks, and slippers. I have been freezing all the time with this pregnancy. What's up with that?
I am thankful for:
my parents coming out to visit just because. It was so nice to have them here and not have a hundred things to do. Actually, we had nothing to do! It was wonderful.
I am thinking about:
Lent. Every year when Easter comes I realize how much I didn't take advantage of Lent and I get mad at myself. This year we're going to discuss what our family will and won't do, what is realistic, and what is most beneficial. I have some great ideas, but they aren't all feasible at this stage of the game.
I am reading:
Theology for Beginners, along with the bible and Catechism of the Catholic Church for my 5-year-reading program. This book is so hard. Makes my head hurt. No pain, no gain.
From the kitchen:
we had some awesome meals the last few days! Thursday - Chicken Piccata with lemon herb egg noodles, Friday - Shrimp Scampi with risotto, Saturday - Baked lobster tails, grilled steaks, and potatoes. After all of that, we had Papa Murphy's pizza tonight for dinner. And what does Ben say at the table? "Momma. This is the best dinner you've ever made." Why I oughta...
From the school room:
we are in need of a winter pick-me-up in our schedule this week so I think we'll be doing some out of the ordinary things. Please pray for inspiration.
A picture thought I'm sharing:
In honor of the Winter Olympics, Scott made these rings out of Legos for us. Aren't they cool?

Shane will be VERY impressed with the Lego rings! He is a HUGE lego fan. I have a feeing at some point our home will be filled with them (for him to play with).
Yeah, it's funny when Scott tells me there are things the boys "need" for their toys. Or when he says he's picking up their toys but is really building something. Ah well! Could be worse!
