Outside my window … it's snowing and raining at the same time. And it's grey. So grey. Have I mentioned how much I hate winter? I really need to figure out how to get over this.
I am thinking … of ways to combat the winter blahs. And how to get everything I want/need to get done this week. Robots, maybe?
I am thankful for … weekend getaways. And that Scott thinks that these are just as important as I do. I got to get away for a weekend and learn how to do digital scrapbooking.
I am hoping … that picking dearest baby's name (now nicknamed Fuego) won't be as hard as it is seeming right now.
On my mind … a dear friend of mine and her husband are in the process of adopting their first baby. I am so excited for them I can hardly contain myself!
Noticing that … time slips past me way too easily.
A few plans for the week … planning, buying cloth diapers (I'm taking the plunge!!), and figuring out a gate situation for our stairs.
From the kitchen … I'm trying so hard to stay on my midday cooking plan to help with things being easier in the evenings. It's been harder with needing to lay down when the kids do. Maybe if/when the sun comes back out I can do it!!
Around the house … lots to unpack and settle in still so I can feel ready for Fuego to come.
One of my favorite things … Greta's funny story telling. If only we could know what she's saying. She also has an awesome laugh.

Smile dear friend! I too have been struggling with the cloudy, grey, "snaining" (that's snowing and raining) days. But finding out that you had a blog made me smile today! I love seeing pictures of your kiddos and your growing baby! I would love to come by soon to see the new place, meet the kiddos, and catch up with an old friend who could always make me laugh myself silly!!! Love you!
