I know, it's been forever since I've updated this. Sorry!!
Here's our latest.
Ben has one more week of school before summer break. He is so excited about having the summer off and we have lots of fun things planned. We're going to celebrate our summer break by going to our first Royals game on Sunday. Ben's really excited. Wanna join us? Come on along!
Ben blew me away with his Kindergarten year. I was really using this as a trial year - he isn't technically in Kindergarten until this coming Fall - but he was eager for it so I thought we'd try it out. He did great. He's reading to Peter all the time and it isn't uncommon to find him sitting somewhere with his nose in a book. He loves reading chapter books - I think his favorite so far are The Littles. His questions about God and all things big are challenging sometimes - but in a good way!
Peter is in a big-boy-bed and it's going much better than we thought it would (so far anyway!). He was a little sad when we took the crib out of his room though. I just keep telling him Greta needs it because she's a baby and he's a big boy now. He has been so funny lately! Last week he told Scott that he was cute ... like a monkey. Peter is such a lovey kid and full of affection - when he slows down enough to give you some of it!
Greta is getting bigger every day. She is so quiet and stares all the time - almost to the point of being rude! So far, no one's taken offense to it! :)
Scott's back seems to be holding up really well. I can't tell you how happy we are that we went to the orthopedic doctor and got him on the right medicine. What a relief!!!
Me, I'm still here! I'm learning how to juggle this new family of ours slowly-but-surely. There are lots of days that I feel like I'm in a pinball machine and I just jump from thing to thing, but most of the time it's wonderful! I may have something different to say when Greta is mobile. I just had an MRI on my knee yesterday to see if I have a torn meniscus. Please pray that it's not torn! I don't want to have surgery right now. Like there's ever a good time for surgery, right??
Anyway, you are now caught up. I will try to keep this updated. Honest.
Just be patient with me.

What program did you use for Ben's "K yr" and are you homeschooling again next year?
Wow, your kids are getting so big, but then again, aren't they all :) Thanks for the update.
We are using Mother of Divine Grace. It uses a Classical method of teaching and learning. I love it! Yep, we're going to keep homeschooling until it doesn't work for us. One year at a time!
