Ben is obsessed with traps lately. Animal traps to be exact.
He has recently learned that Grandpa Chevy's garden is under attack by some hungry (and now fat) rabbits.
His new obsession is building a trap for these rabbits so Grandma and Grandpa can enjoy their crops. He had a long talk with both grandparents about how he is going to go about building this trap. He was planning on digging a deep hole that the rabbits would fall into, but when Grandma reminded him that rabbits are good diggers and they would probably dig their way out, Ben fixed that problem. He would pour a cement floor and cement walls in this hole - no digging their way out then!
Then, he added another element to the trap - Ben would put water in the hole. And salt and pepper. At first I was concerned that he had a morbid side to him and he was going to try to drown the rabbits. But actually he informed us that animals don't like water.
And they don't like to have seasonings put on them.
Who knew?

Salt and pepper sounds like the perfect seasoning for thos wascally wabbits - heh heh heh! My only concern is that it's duck season, no wabbit season, duck season, wabbit season, duck season, duck season...
