The Simple Woman's Daybook - July 28

This is something I'm going to try out. I've loved reading other people's so I thought I'd try it too!

Outside My Window... It is cloudy, and hopefully still rainy. It feels like a day that it should rain the whole time. That would be ok with me. But just for today.

I am thinking... of the things I can have organized for Peter to do when Ben and I start his Kindergarten year in a couple weeks.

I am thankful for... Scott feeling good enough to go back to work, at least just for half days.

From the kitchen... There's nothing coming out of my kitchen today. I had dreams of banana bread backing up in there, but that's not to happen today. Tomorrow? Maybe.

I am wearing... Sweat pants and a pink top. Lazy day.

I am creating... plans for a homeschool room... which doesn't exist here in this house, but it's fun to think about it anyway!

I am going... to my 20 week OB appointment today! I can't believe this is already half over.

I am reading...Full of Grace, by Johnette Benkovic. I love the insights in this book!

I am hoping...for long naps from the boys. And for inspiration for what we are going to do for dinner.

I am hearing...the garage door opening. Scott's home!

Around the house... is a MESS! I can't wait to have energy again to keep up with things. At least somewhat.

One of my favorite things... is naptime.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Lots of doctor's appointments. Ben goes to see his allergiest tomorrow and I'm hoping we'll find out the plans for doing an oral challenge on him when he's 6. It makes me nervous thinking about it. And then Scott's 2nd round of cortizone shots is on Wednesday. Please pray that this works and he won't need surgery.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...
This is what baby might look like! Here's a picture of a baby 20 weeks in utero.
